Kate has been practicing yoga since 2000, and would roll out her mat as a way to stretch following a workout, not yet aware of the deeper benefits of this practice in the years to follow. These ancient practices assist her daily, in working through issues around anxiety, the grief of losing her Father, and managing a lifelong battle with an autoimmune disease - the healing benefits of yoga are truly undeniable.


Kate completed her RYT200HR in Hatha Yoga through the Yogashala studio in Waterdown, ON with Barb Leese in 2020. Since then, she continues her journey as a lifelong student. She is currently pursuing her 500RYT in Hatha Yoga and certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counsellor (June 2024).


Her continued education journey has led her to:: 

-  Fascial Yin Yoga certification (40hrs) 

- Trauma Informed Yoga (12hrs) 

- Essential Ayurveda for Yoga Practitioners (50hrs)

- Certified in Pranayama and Meditation (30hrs)

- Yoga Philosophy (12hrs)

- Somatic Anatomy (12hrs)


Kate is an active member with Yoga Alliance International. You can find her classes in person throughout southwestern Ontario and virtually worldwide.
